Repairs- If we can’t fix it, it may be best to retire or replace it.
Restorations- We can return it to as close to original as you want.
Refurbishing- Get those drums back in shape! I cannot count the number of sad drums that have come to my workbench to be transformed into something special –bring it in!
Refinishing- Tired of that old finish? Yr shell(s) might be a candidate for a new satin oil finish stain… not particularly cheap, easy or always possible but worth looking into. Painted finishes available as well with less restrictions.
Recovering- A more likely alternative… We can re-wrap most drums with any of the plastics we offer on MQCD (that’s A LOT!).
Modifications- Need better bass drum spurs? Smoother snare drum throw-off? Meatier mounting system? Whatever; we can do it!
Detailing- Need/want yr tubs to look and function like a shiny freaked-out hotrod?
Custom re-builds with yr existing parts
New bearing edges/snare beds. We’ve cut bearing edges on “new” drums more times than we can count. Of course old and worn drums can benefit from this too…
Metal snare drum engraving- a wide variety of classic and custom designs can be hand-engraved onto your metal snare drum
Bass Drum-ectomies- got a modern stupidly long bass drum that you can’t tune or make sound good? Let us have our way with it…
Live and studio tech
Aaron Mlasko is an excellent choice for drum technical assistance when you have an important live performance or recording situation. With over 20 years of hands-on drum experience including world tours with The Presidents of the United States of America (Jason Finn, drummer), Candlebox (Scott Mercado), Pearl Jam (Matt Cameron), Yes and Spencer Davis (Alan White), Tori Amos (Matt Chamberlain), The Wallflowers and Liz Phair (Mario Calire) there’s probably no drum problem he can’t solve. He can tweek out yr kit or bring in one of the available rental kits. If you need the best drum sounds possible, we’re probably the best in the Northwest, or possibly anywhere else for that matter. –Hey, just sayin’…
